Carol City DB has leader

Simeon Thomas has some offers and he has a leader. Get the latest on this defensive back out of Florida here.

"Florida State has offered me and they are my leader," Simeon Thomas told Scout. "FSU has been recruiting me since the 10th grade and I have been in contact with them a lot. Marvin Bracy is my cousin and he signed with them this year, so it would be exciting to play with him."

Thomas plans to be in Tallahassee this week to show the Seminole coaches what he can do.

"I will be there on the 13th for their camp and I am looking forward to it. I know Coach Stoops wants to see me and coach me, so I will be ready."

This will be his second camp.

Miami was his first earlier this month and he is hearing a lot from the Hurricanes.

"They have not offered me yet, but I think I did good at their camp. They talked to me a lot and I have stated to hear from them a lot."

Along with UM Alabama is showing interest in the 6-foot-3, 185 pound defensive back out of Carol City, Fla.

He currently holds offers from Florida International, Florida State, LSU, Ole Miss, and South Florida.
