News and notes on the recruiting trail from some of the top prospects over a big camp weekend in the Northwest...

  • Spokane (Wash.) Mead outside linebacker Danny Mattingly loved his unofficial to Oregon this weekend. He will take unofficials to Alabama, Notre Dame and Oklahoma at the end of June.
  • Bellevue (Wash.) outside linebacker Myles Jack plans on making his decision before the season starts. Most assume the decision to be down to UCLA and Washington.
  • Bothell (Wash.) RB/LB Darrin Laufasa landed offers from Portland State and Wyoming over the weekend. Also holds an Idaho offer.
  • Portland (Ore.) Jesuit prospect Doug Brenner earned an offer from Oregon State at their camp. The Beavers like him at center.
  • Fruitland (Id.) linebacker Joe Martarano and tight end Alec Dhaenens performed well at the NFTC and are rock solid to Boise. They don't plan on taking any other visits or camps.
  • Wenatchee (Wash.) 2014 running back Isaiah Brandt-Sims landed what should be the first off many offers this weekend, from Wyoming. Will camp at Washington and Stanford.
  • Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic cornerback Markell Sanders has added a Nevada offer to go along with Washington State. He will camp at Washington and Boise State this summer.
  • Portland State gave Wilsonville (Ore.) outside linebacker Johnny Ragin his first offer after the NFTC on Sunday.
  • Washington State commit Wenatchee (Wash.) offensive lineman Cody O'Connell doesn't plan on taking in any other camps this summer and has completely shut down his recruitment.
  • Seattle (Wash.) Prep defensive back Tere Calloway landed an offer from Temple.
  • San Diego State offered Mililani (Haw.) outside linebacker Dokota Turner after their camp.
  • Bellevue (Wash.) middle linebacker Sean Constantine said he is completely satisfied with his commitment to Washington. No longer spending any time on recruiting, focused on senior season.
  • Bellevue (Wash.) Newport quarterback Isaac Dotson holds offers from Eastern Washington, Montana, Montana State, New Mexico and Washington State. He is hearing from Idaho, Portland State, Stanford, UCLA and Washington. He will camp at Nevada and Oregon.
  • Mountlake Terrace (Wash.) 2014 outside linebacker Devante Downs is hearing from Washington, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Michigan and Stanford.
