Redmond talks Oregon offer

Los Alamitos (Calif.) offensive lineman Alex Redmond picked up arguably his biggest offer to date last Friday when the Oregon Ducks came calling.

Alex Redmond is among the top guards in the West and is now past the double digit offer mark with his latest one.

"I'm very excited about this offer," Redmond said over the weekend. "The Ducks are an incredible team, they have a dominant program so this offer means a lot. They have an exciting offense that is actually similar to what we do at Los Alamitos.

"They have great facilities and I've heard so many good things about not just the football program but the school itself. They even have cool uniforms, which is always nice. I've never visited the school but I've seen pictures and stuff online and it's pretty high end, almost futuristic looking."

Redmond said he plans to visit Oregon at some point but just needs to find a good weekend.

"I'm going to Washington this weekend so I might try and visit Oregon on the way there or on the way back," Redmond said. "Those are both great schools and both are high on my list. Seeing them back to back like this would give me a chance to compare them to each other so hopefully I can make that work."
