Wilbon Shows Buckeyes His Speed

Chicago De La Salle (Ill.) class of 2014 RB Mikale Wilbon recaps the Ohio State camp on Sunday, one he says he did well at.

Speedy running back Mikale Wilbon showed Ohio State the reported speed was legitimate on Sunday at their camp, and may be putting himself in position to earn a first offer soon.

"I did good at Ohio State. I ran the forty in 4.48 and the running back coach from Ohio State said he is going to recruit me and is really close to offering me. Akron and Bowling Green also talked to me."

Standing 5'9, 190-lbs, Wilbon rushed for 1,634 yards and 14 touchdowns as a sophomore and is also hearing from Wisconsin, Michigan, Kansas, Illinois and Minnesota. He says Ohio State is a place he likes though, so their interest in him is exciting.

"I was very excited because it's Ohio State and their campus is very nice."

The Buckeyes have offered his teammate Jamarco Jones, and Wilbon and Jones will continue their camp swing this weekend at Michigan State.
