Last season Cam Lewis had 1105 yards and 14 touchdowns for Ballard. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound senior was a force and now has a D-1 scholarship offer under his belt.

"Recruiting is going real good," said Lewis. "I just got offered by Toledo and Arkansas State may be offering real soon," he said.

Lewis camped recently with Western Kentucky and Cincinnati. He also has plans to take another trip.

"Western Kentucky's camp was great. And Cincinnati was good. I talked to about five schools and talked to Cincy a lot. I talked to about five schools while I was up there.

One of those schools may be ready to offer.

"Indiana State, they seem like they would offer soon," he continued.

Additionally Lewis will be taking a trip down to Jonesboro, Arkansas to check out the Red Wolves this month.

"I have to go down to Arkansas State on the 22nd. It's not a camp or anything. It's just an unofficial visit. I don't know much about them yet. Just the basics that they told me," he finished.
