"I called the Tulane coaches this morning," said Clark yesterday. "We talked about how they want me to come play there. We also talked about how their defense is set-up, and their future plans -- the players they want out of Louisiana.
Their coaches think (four-star Port Allen LB) Darian Claiborne (pictured below, left, with Clark) and I would be a good match together at linebacker. Coaches from Tulane and Mississippi State have both said that about Claiborne and me."
What else did the Tulane staff say?
"They said I'm versatile enough to play anywhere from safety to defensive end to linebacker," said Clark. "I talked to Coach (Jason) Rollins, Coach (Lionel) Washington and Coach (Barry) Lamb. I talked to the entire defensive staff.
"C.J. (head coach Curtis Johnson) is out of town, but I will see him at their camp next week. I think it starts on Wednesday and runs from the 18th to 20th or 21st."
Clark is contemplating a visit to Mississippi State in a few days. He has a 7-on-7 tourney in Alexandria this weekend. Yesterday, he competed in a 7-on-7 round-robin against Destrehan, Bonnabel and Riverside Academy.
