Bivins Caraway helped Longview to the third round of the Texas 5-A playoffs, while throwing for 2425 yards and 23 touchdowns. Now with offers in hand from Navy, New Mexico and Texas State, Caraway went with another choice.
"I committed to Louisiana-Monroe (ULM)," he said.
And why did he choose the Warhawks?
"I loved their offense. They run the spread and all I want to do is throw the ball, anyway," Caraway said. "I feel like they fit me the best. Coach Berry is very direct when I talk to him. He tells the real deal. The players that I talked to, there, seem really happy," he said.
Caraway also feels comfortable in Monroe because of the proximity from home.
"It's just three hours from home and it's a straight shot. My parents loved it too," he finished.
