Longview QB Is First ULM Commitment

Longview Texas quarterback Bivens Caraway picked up an offer from the ULM Warhawks back in the spring. Yesterday he and his family visited the campus of ULM and today he committed to the Warhawks. Bivens talks about his commitment and how the 2013 quarterback class is going to look for ULM.

"ULM offered me and three other quarterbacks", said Longview quarterback Bivins Caraway.

They are only taking one quarterback in this class so I jumped on the offer. They said each of the quarterbacks had something unique about them".

"ULM offered me back in the spring and yesterday my family and I went on a visit to Monroe to check out the city and the campus".

"I liked everything about it. The players were nice to talk to and gave me a good idea about how life was in Monroe and on campus. Distance is also not a factor as its a straight shot to and from home plus they have a Taco Bell on campus", joked Bivins.

As a Junior Bivins tossed 25 touchdowns and ran for 9 more while throwing for more than 2500 yards and rushing for another 200 yards.

Caraway is 6'0 200 pounds and runs a 4.7 forty with 4.2 shuttle. Bivins has a 3.3 GPA and is looking into Marketing or Pharmacy as a major at ULM.
