Green is spending the week on campus at Florida State while participating in Jimbo Fisher's football camp. "I love the campus," Green said. "It's gorgeous…and pretty big. I just like everything about it."
The 5'11, 190-pound athlete spent yesterday observing Camp Jimbo before lacing up his cleats today. "I felt really good on the field," he said of his workout. "There are a lot of good competitors out here – some great linebackers. I've gotten some great one-on-one work in. It's a great camp overall."
While Green made it clear that he won't commit before he feels certain that he's found the right fit, "I just want to get [recruiting] over with. I want to focus on my school work and not have to worry about it," he said.
Running backs, notably Green, participating this week have been the undisputed highlight of the camp. "The kid is just so explosive and displays great lateral movement," Newberg said of Green.
Although his performance on the field has been impressive, Green is concerned with his life off the field this week. "I just want to learn more about [Florida State]," he said. "This week, I wanted to see where the players live and get to know my surroundings [in Tallahassee].
"I already knew that I loved the coaching staff here. They're just like fathers to me."
Jimbo Fisher Camp at Florida State University concludes after a final workout session tomorrow morning.
