"Old Dominion told me they would offer on June 29 when I go to their one-day camp, and West Virginia has talked about offering me when I go up there" said Quinerly. "I am also just starting to hear from UMass, hopefully that offer comes around. I am wide-open, being humble about everything, and working to keep my grades up."
Those are not the only schools who have contacted Quinerly.
Quinerly did not grow up a big college football fan, but there is one school that he really would like to get an offer from at some point.
"LSU would be the offer," said Quinerly. "Their cornerbacks are aggressive and they don't take no for an answer."
The Lake Taylor product is always trying to improve his game.
"I have been working on my footwork, speed, and my hand eye-coordination," he said.
Quinerly has one goal for his sophomore season.
"I want to win a state championship," he said.
He bench presses 230 pounds, squats 470, and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.51 seconds.
