Monday Discusses Recent Offers

Fairburn (GA) Arlington Christian defensive back Demetrius Monday is in the midst of a Raw Talent Sports bus tour, and he is producing in front of college coaches. Monday has picked up six offers on the tour.

Demetrius Monday might have been frustrated by his lack of offers throughout the spring, but the Fairburn (GA) Arlington Christian cornerback is smiling right now.

Monday, 5-foot-11, 185-pounds, is currently traveling with Raw Talent Sports on a bus tour through the Midwest, and he has picked up six offers to go with an earlier offer from Akron.

"In the past week I have picked up offers from Mississippi State, Eastern Michigan, Toledo, Ohio University, Ball State and Cincinnati," Monday stated. "I feel so blessed to have these offers, and recruiting has really picked up for me. I'm very excited to have this interest, and I'm hoping for more offers."

"We are headed to Michigan, Northwestern and Illinois in the next week," he stated. "The two offers I want the most are Ohio State and Michigan, so I can't wait to work out for the Michigan coaches. I hope to get to Ohio State at some point."

He took the time to discuss his recent offers from both Mississippi State and Cincinnati.

"Mississippi State was a camp I did very good at, and I shut down some highly-rated receivers," he explained. "I loved it there and I was thrilled to get that offer. They called the next day and let my coach know they were offering. Landing an SEC offer lets me know I can play anywhere, but I'm still working hard."

"Cincinnati is a place I fell in love with last winter when I visited," he continued. "I was good at camp this week and had four picks. Getting that offer from head coach Butch Jones was amazing, and I was so excited to receive it. I don't have a favorite school yet, because I'm still hoping for more offers."
