SMSB Football Academy: Ricardo Johnson

One young prospect who came in to the Sound Mind, Sound Body Football Academy with a lot of interest already is Cretin Derham Hall (Minn.) class of 2014 quarterback Ricardo Johnson. He had a chance to talk to some big schools at the event and spoke with Scout about what's been happening in his recruitment.

How did the camp go for you?
I loved it. I always love the opportunity to come to Michigan and perform against the thick density of athletes they have here. It's good to test my skills against them and I think I did really well.

Did you have a chance to talk to any schools here?
I talked to the head coach of Michigan, Coach Hoke and I talked to the head coach from Ohio State also, so that's a little conflicting interest, but I had good conversations with different coaches and I think they're all happy with what I saw.

Where do you go for camps from here?
I'm going down to Florida Atlantic University and then Michigan also and Tennesse and I think I'm going to go do an unofficial at Miami and Hawaii and that's it.

Have you talked to Hawaii since you received an offer?
I've talked to the coaches a few times about certain things they would like me to work on and making sure that when I'm down there, I'm crisp and what my skills are.
