Badgers Want Harris

Matt Harris reigned in his third Big Ten offer of the week, bringing his offer total offer count to seven. He talks with Fox Sports Next about his most recent offer.

Lyons Township DB Matt Harris has another Big Ten offer in the books. The 2013 prospect was offered by Wisconsin Sunday after attending camp.

"I was surprised and excited at the same time," Harris said. "It's a great school to play football and they have a bright future."

The 6-foot, 170-pounder is being recruited on both sides of the ball, but the Badgers see him at defense.

"Coach Bielema told me they want to use me at corner and I have great potential," Harris said.

Harris said he's looking for a program where the players and students feel like a second family. And Harris could see himself playing for Coach Bielema.

"He's a fantastic coach who clearly knows what he's talking about when it comes to football, he's a very wise man."

Harris also holds offers from Northwestern, Boston College, Toledo and Miami (Oh.).
