Florida DB back from weekend trip

Austin Logan is a standout defensive back prospect from Florida High in Tallahassee and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

"I just got back from Duke and Liberty," Austin Logan said. "I went to Duke's one day camp and just visited Liberty."

"Duke, it was really good. I like the style of the campus and I like how at the dinner Friday my position coach let me know their plans for the future and how they stand and I appreciate that. With a few DB commitments already, they're gonna continue to assess me. They have one more spot.
Liberty, it was real nice. We drove up after the camp on Saturday at Duke. We met up with Turner Gill and all the other coaches. We met with a few players, including one of my friends (DJ Abner). We got a feel for what Liberty football is all about."

Logan, 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, has a few events coming up soon as well.

"Next, I'm going to the IMG Tournament in two weeks with the South Florida Express. Then in July I'll be making a trip to some schools – Cincinnati, Purdue, Louisville (no offer), Indiana (no offer), and Northwestern."

Logan, who has close to 20 offers right now, talked about what he'll be looking for in a school.

"I'm gonna look at academics. Can I wake up everyday and even if I'm unhappy or have a bad day, will I still be happy there and will I have people around me influencing me in a good way."

Logan finished his junior season with 40 tackles and two interceptions.
