Murphy, 5-foot-8, 160-pounds, dominated the Toledo 7on7 Monday, scoring well over 20 touchdowns in five games and being impossible to cover one-on-one.
"The Glass Bowl is great and I loved playing in the tournament," Murphy stated. "This was awesome and I love competing against great players. We have qualified for the national tournament in Bradenton, and this was a good test for that."
"I thought I played very well and nobody could really guard me," he added. "I scored a lot and I never dropped one football, which is the most important thing to me."
A Miami commit, Murphy discussed why that was the right choice.
"Miami is a place I visited three times and I loved everything about it," he explained. "The school has everything I'm looking for, both educationally and football-wise. I just fell in love with the school, to be honest. My parents and I prayed about the offer, and I knew it was the right school for me."
