"Before the camp, I wasn't really being recruited by them (Louisville)," Edwards said, "When I came, I preformed pretty good, probably the best receiver there."
Edwards said that UofL defensive coordinator Vance Bedford, who recruits the Indianapolis area, invited him to attend camp. Among other things, Edwards loved the facilities at Louisville, calling them "off the charts."
The speedy wide receiver, who possess 4.4 speed, recently picked up offers from Cincinnati and Western Kentucky. Indiana has also shown strong interest in the two-star recruit. However, Cincinnati seems to be the early favorite.
Illinois is a school that has been in the hunt from the beginning. Edwards expects an offer from the Illini very soon.
Although Louisville has not offered Edwards a scholarship yet, he said he was just "waiting for an offer to come." He plans to make an unofficial visit with Louisville this week. Before visiting with Louisville, Edwards will travel to Ohio State to perform in workouts.
It seems that Edwards is very interested in Louisville and would highly consider an offer if one came. The question: Will the Cardinals offer Edwards?
