Greenlee lands offer No. 1

Stockton (Calif.) Lincoln quarterback Zack Greenlee has had a great spring throwing the football but it had yet to result in a bump in his recruitment. That changed on Thursday.

Zack Greenlee camped with Fresno State on Thursday and landed his first scholarship of the year.

"They had their team camp going on and I went for the day," Greenlee said. "I've been out there a few times already and I'm familiar and comfortable with the school, coaches and campus. I like it there, it's a good school and they have produced a lot of quality quarterbacks over the years.

"It feels great to have this first offer, it's a nice weight off my back. I'm going to San Jose State on Monday and hopefully things will go well for me there as well. That's the only other camp I have planned but like I've said, I'm open to any other schools who want to recruit me."

Greenlee earned MVP honors at the recent Elite 11 Regional Camp in Las Vegas last weekend and qualified for the Elite 11 finals in Redondo Beach in July.
