Woodside visited Ohio for a camp earlier this month and while the coaches were impressed, they declined offering at that time. But today, they went ahead and made the call after seeing Logan in person again.
"I went there for a camp in early June. That's the first time they saw me. A week ago they emailed me and said they had a quarterback and weren't going to take anymore," he said. "And then after my performance today, he changed his mind," Woodside continued.
But that wasn't the end of the story today for Woodside as Western Kentucky came calling as well.
"Western Kentucky offered me," he said. "That's really one that I wanted," he said.
Woodside isn't going to make hasty decision, however. He still wants to weigh his options.
"I really just want to keep my options open right now," he said. "But I would like to get it all done before the season starts," he finished.
