"Right now it's Vanderbilt and Miami," Moore said. "They are the two other schools I'm really interested in with Rutgers.
"I want to try to get it over with before my senior season starts. I want to be focused on school and try to get back to the state championship and win it with my teammates."
Moore arrived at Rutgers for camp last night and said the campus and lifestyle is the kind he is looking for in a college.
"I love it so far," Moore said. "The people are nice. The coaches are treating me really well. I like the players and Rutgers."
Moore spent some of his downtime meeting current Scarlet Knights, including five-star incoming freshman Darius Hamilotn, who gave him good reviews of his first month on campus.
"I ran into some of the incoming freshmen last night while they were moving in," Moore said. "I met Darius Hamilton. He's a great guy. And I met some of the seniors. They took me out to eat and I just hung out with them and it was a good time."
One of the top reasons for Rutgers interest before his visit, Moore said, was his relationship with linebackers coach Dave Cohen. Cohen is recruiting both Moore and teammate Nick Internicola.
"He's an amazing guy," Moore said. "I've learned so much from him even in the last two days. If he ended up coaching me for four years, I would learn a lot from him. I'm excited about him."
Moore and Internicola both hold Rutgers offers and are among the top linebackers on the board for the Scarlet Knights.
Internicola, who most recently camped at Boston College, is set to arrive and camp in Piscataway Monday afternoon and Tuesday.
"[Our team] is experiencing Rutgers together," Moore said. "Nick is coming in later today. We both were very excited about coming up here. We've been talking about playing together in college and everything. I'm excited to get him up here and show him how great it is."
