Strong lands first Pac 12 offer

Fontana (Calif.) Summit defensive back Justin Strong picked up his first Pac 12 offer last week after an impressive camp performance.

Justin Strong has had an impressive spring playing with the Frat Boys 7 on 7 team. He plays safety opposite Su'a Cravens and is one of the more physical players in the state.

San Diego State was first to offer Strong and the athlete camped with Oregon State last weekend and the Beavers offered as well.

"I was very excited about it, I've been waiting for this one to come in," Strong said. "I did their camp at Fullerton and it went really well. I like the coaches a lot and thought I did well and got the offer so it was a great experience."

Strong and his Frat Boys squad competed at UCLA's 7 on 7 tournament Sunday and he'll take one more unofficial visit later in the summer.

"I'm going to Nevada July 28th for their Senior Day," Strong said. "I was going to camp with Boise State as well but it was a little too costly for me. I'm still hearing a lot from them and hoping they'll offer along with UCLA and Nevada.

"Right now, my plan is to make my decision halfway through the season. I want to take some time and see what schools are most interested and see who offers. Then I'll be able to figure out where the best place for me is."
