Lone Oak High (Ky.) quarterback Cole Ousley has spent the spring and summer working out for schools. Ousley was especially impressed with the Louisville Cardinals.

Ousley grew up following the Louisville Cardinals and it's no surprise that he's excited about what he saw at Louisville while at his camp.

"I really liked Louisville. Coach Watson is a great guy and I have always been a Louisville fan growing up," he said. "The offense is just so different than what I am used to. But I know eventually in my career I'm going to have to make that change," he said.

Ousley isn't worried about the offense and he does like what Louisville does out there.

"I like that they are beginning to sling the ball around and put the ball in play makers hands and let them do work," he said. "They showed a lot of trips and five wide, which I'm used to," he said.

Ousley has also been to camp at Western Kentucky and plans to trip to an SEC school.

"I plan on camping at Arkansas in July. It's starting to get hard to plan camps around my team's schedule and my team will always be first," he said.

His team first mentality is just another reason why it shouldn't be long before Ousley earns some scholarship offers.

"I feel like schools are showing me a lot of interest, but all I can do is keep working and all the offers will begin to come. Hard work pays off," he finished.
