Strong Busy Camping

FOX Sports NEXT caught up with Fontana (Calif.) Summit athlete Justin Strong at the Bonita 7on7 Tournament to talk his latest offer, visit plans, and more...

Though summer just began, Fontana (Calif.) Summit safety Justin Strong has kept a packed schedule, attending camps and 7on7 tournaments over the past few weeks.

Earlier this month, Strong has a solid performance at the Get It Done Sports Training Camp, instructed by the Oregon State coaches. A week later, the 5'11", 188 lb. prospect picked up his second offer from the Beavers.

"The coaches wanted my dad and I to give them a call and I spoke with the head coach, Mike Riley, and he was excited to extend the offer to me," he said.

Strong attended camps at both USC and San Jose State, and holds an offer from San Diego State.

"I'm a little familiar with their program. I have some friends up there, Paul Pitts and Pierre Romain. I like the way they play defense, and that it's close to home. I'll be taking a visit there in a couple of weeks," he said.

Strong will next head to Nevada to attend the Wolfpack's Senior Day, where he hopes to pick up his third offer. The prospect is also hearing from a few other West Coast programs.

"I'm still really interested in Boise State. They will probably offer during the season, after the first few games. Nevada will probably offer during my visit. I'm also hearing from Fresno State and Western New Mexico," he said.

The Boise State program is one that Strong has had continued interest in and says that he likes that they "want [him] at running back, but are also recruiting [him] as an athlete." If Strong does pick up an offer from the Broncos, he thinks he'll take a visit this fall.
