6-foot-2, 230 pound rising senior Nick Isaacs held offers from Ball State and Air Force. The middle linebacker didn't feel the need to prolong his recruitment and decided to make his decision.
"I have committed to Ball State," said Isaacs. "I feel like they are perfect for me. I will have great playing time and they have my major. I'm most excited about meeting my new family up at Ball State."
The rising senior says that when he made the decision, everyone involved couldn't be happier.
"They all were very excited that I was coming to Ball State. So were I and my parents too."
The MLB says that making his commitment before his senior year not only takes the pressure off of him, but his family as well.
"It feels great knowing that I don't have to worry about anything else. It was a relief to my parents as well."
So what can the fans expect from Isaacs?
"They can expect only the best from me when I hit the field. I will make sure they know that they came to see the Ball State Cardinals."
