Beavers Offer Ajamu

The attention around Shelton (Wash.) tight end David Ajamu continues to grow as he adds an offer from Oregon State…

Shelton (Wash.) tight end David Ajamu landed his first Pac -12 offer this past week after performing well at the NW Stars Camp in Seattle.

"Oregon State offered me, they talked to my coach and he told me to call them," said Ajamu. "They want me to come over there later this summer."

Ajamu's stock has soared since his back to back performances at the NW Elite Camp and Oregon NFTC in early June. In the span of a little over a month, he has added offers from Oregon State, Portland State and Wyoming.

"It was exciting to know that a Pac-12 school is interested in me," said Ajamu. "It just gives you the feeling you are doing the right things, hard work pays off."

The offer has caused Ajamu to reconsider his timeline. While he planned on waiting to make a college decision, he could now see his process ending earlier.

"I haven't decided, I am thinking about committing early," said Ajamu. "I am just weighing my options and thinking hard about it, we will see what comes up."

So what does early mean?

"Right now I could see myself deciding a couple games into my season," said Ajamu. "
