Johnson Turns Heads

2013 receiver Mossi Johnson participated at the B2G Elite Camp at the end of June. He took a few minutes to talk recruiting process, his offer from UNLV, and what he's working to improve on.

Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw receiver Mossi Johnson turned heads at the B2G Elite Camp in Southern California.

The 2013 recruit currently holds an offer from UNLV, but after turning in a strong performance at B2G, it could only be a matter of time before he starts to collect a few more.

The 6'1" 185 pound athlete played the entire field this past season for Crenshaw, including safety and quarterback, but has begun to hone in on his receiving skills this summer.

"It's going pretty well," Johnson said at camp. "I'm working on my footwork, learning how to catch the ball, tuck it, and how to stack the corner so they won't be able to play the ball anymore."

Johnson picked up the UNLV offer after a strong showing at the Rebels' camp.

"They offered me after the camp, I was excited to get that offer," Johnson said. "They're really cool, they're nice people. They treat me like I'm family and it's a real nice environment."

Interested in staying on the west coast and playing in the Pac-12, Johnson would also like to pick up offers from Arizona, UCLA, and Washington before making a commitment official.
