Roback Talks Commitment

6-foot-4, 180 pound quarterback Brogan Roback has been impressing schools all over the country. With five offers in the bag, the rising senior didn't feel the need to prolong his recruitment. Check out what he has to say about heading to Eastern Michigan.

St. Johns Jesuit (OH) rising senior Brogan Roback has taken no shortcuts when it comes to his recruitment. The quarterback has been around the country visiting schools such as Michigan, Iowa, West Virginia and Wisconsin and has picked up five offers along the way.

With Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Miami (Oh), Ohio and Toledo all coming after him, Roback knew in the back of his mind where he wanted to end up.

"I have committed to Eastern Michigan," said Roback Saturday morning.

When it came to picking the Eagles, Roback says that the work they've put into the program last season made them stand out.

"I choose them because of the success they've had this past year. Also the staff they have at Eastern is starting to turn it around."

The quarterback also has a family tie to the school.

"My sister Paige plays volleyball there."

Throughout his recruitment process, Roback has has always said that two things would be the most important factors in his decision.

"Academics are the most important. Then the coaches and the people around the program. These are the people that I'll be surrounded by for the next four or five years."

At Eastern Michigan, the QB got everything he was looking for.
