CB Ryan Carter Profile
Wayne Gallman, David Kamara and Robert Nkemdiche have all committed to Clemson. Their former teammate, Nick Schuessler, will walk on this fall.
There's also Ryan Carter, a 5-10, 165-pound cornerback.
"I like their defense and I feel like I could help out the team," Carter told CUTigers in a recent interview.
"Playing with Rob and David, that's what we've always wanted to do. I feel like I could play [at Clemson]."
Carter's buddies have filled him in on a few of the details about Clemson.
"They told me the coaching style is kind of similar to coach [Mickey] Conn at our school. The defense is similar to our defense at Grayson," Carter said. "And we could come in and make an impact on their team."
Ole Miss, East Carolina, Southern Miss, Tulane, Arkansas State and Georgia State have offered.
Wisconsin, Mississippi State and Georgia are also expressing interest.
Carter said he and Nkemdiche are scheduled to visit Clemson on the 20th.
The two-star prospect described himself as a player:
"I play physical. I like coming down to the line a lot. I like to hit. I can cover, but I can hit. But I really like coming down the line and making big hits."
As a junior, Carter had 70 tackles and two interceptions.
