BEAVERTON, Oregon -- FOX Sports NEXT reports on the day three defensive line standouts at Nike's The Opening, where things really heated up in the trenches.

Keyword: The Opening

Pos Name HT/WT City (State) High School Committed
DT A'Shawn Robinson 6'4, 305 Fort Worth (Texas) Arlington Heights Texas
Robinson was great on days one and two, but somebody flipped his mean switch on and he was a complete animal afterwards. He played with a chip on his shoulder and was obliterating dudes. Making a case for the No. 1 DT spot.
DT Caleb Brantley 6'3, 310 Crescent City (Fla.) Florida
The 4-star prospect does not need a whole lot of moves to get the job done up front. He is powerful and that allowed him to have a lot of success in the run blocking and pass blocking drills.
DE Demarcus Walker 6'4, 279 Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood
Was hungry for more reps, because he was doing nothing but winning. He is a bigger sized defensive end that shows the ability to bend an play low, despite his massive size. If things don't work out at end he could also slide inside.
DE Devin Washington 6'3, 220 Orlando (Fla.) Jones South Carolina
A pass rushing specialist whose speed was a handful for the offensive tackles. He gets off the ball well and is able to get in to the backfield quickly and knock down the bag that represented the quarterback in the drills.
DE Tashawn Bower 6'5, 235 Immaculata (N.J.) Somerville Auburn
Bower is the protoypical defensive end. He is big and rangy and quick off the snap. His combo of size, speed, strength and arm length make him troublesome for offensive tackles to keep out of the backfield.
