Javon Hadley (Miami, Fla./Palmetto) has certain things set for now. This cornerback prospect is hoping to make two unofficial visits this month before making his official visits this fall.

"I didn't get a chance to camp anywhere this summer but I do plan on going to visit UCF on July 24th," Hadley said. "I am also trying to get up to see Illinois."

According to Hadley, he has scholarship offers from Mississippi State, UCF, Florida Atlantic, Elon, South Alabama, UConn, Western Kentucky, Western Michigan and Utah State. From that pool he has a pretty good idea of what schools he will official visit in the coming months.

"I think my official visits will go to Mississippi State, UConn, Elon, Utah State and Western Kentucky," Hadley said. "That's how things are now. Teams like Illinois and South Florida are schools I like but they have not offered me yet."

Of that group a trio of schools standout for Hadley.

"I like UCF, UConn and Mississippi State," Hadley said. "UCF is very close to home. Orlando is not that far away. I like the coaching staff and the campus.

"I love the style of defense that Mississippi State plays. They are aggressive and play a lot of man.

"UConn needs defensive backs so I know that's a school where I can compete for early playing time."

Hadley, 5-foot-11 and 170-pounds, recorded 26 tackles, four interceptions, forced two fumbles, recovered two fumbles and blocked four kicks last season.
