Bobo Still Feeling Good With Buffs

Covina (Calif.) Charter Oak wide receiver, Bryce Bobo, announced his commitment to the University of Colorado last month, but his relationship with the coaches continues to grow.

Since committing to Colorado last month, Covina (Calif.) Charter Oak receiver, Bryce Bobo says his relationships with the coaches are continuing to grow and he makes sure to talk to them often.

"We're still close and keep in contact all the time," Bobo explained."

Bobo can't help but smile when he talks about the day he committed to the Buffs. It is obvious that he is excited, and he knows the Colorado coaching staff is happy to be getting the 6-3, 195-pound receiver.

"They were all really excited," Bobo said. "They let me talk to the head coach and all of the coaches when I did it. It was cool."

Although he hasn't been able to take a visit to Boulder yet, he says a plan to get there this season is in the works and is trying to build a few relationships with future teammates before he gets to campus.

"I haven't been on a visit yet," Bobo explained, "but the other wide receiver, Elijah Dunston hit me up on Facebook and we started talking a little bit."

With the recruiting pressure lifted, the senior says he is working to get better for the upcoming season.

"I'm just practicing with my team and working on improving my footwork and some stuff like that," said Bobo. "I think that's the only thing I really need to work on."

Bobo is confident in the abilities of his team, and is aiming to be the best.

"I'm very ready for this season," he explained. "My team is looking really good right now. We're just trying to get everything connected with each other. We're trying to get the ring."

Bobo says he will be attending a Colorado camp in San Diego at the end of the month and hopes to meet some of his future coaches there.
