LSU Snags 2014 Stud

A top-notch Lone Star State prospect has committed to Les Miles and the LSU Tigers.

Chris Hardeman, a 5-foot-9, 180-pound corner from Alief (Texas) Taylor High just made a huge decision.

He has committed to the LSU Tigers.

His father, a coach at the school, confirmed with recruiting analyst Ahmard Vital.

"He (Chris) just walked out of Les Miles office... Chris is committed to LSU", exclaimed Coach Hardeman!

Chris also racked up offers from schools like Texas A&M, LSU, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Purdue, SMU, Texas Tech, Utah and Wake Forest.

Hardeman was drawn in to the high energy level of the team's practices when he saw them this spring.

"They were very energetic," Hardeman said. "I liked that a lot. I think I stand high with them. They like my style of play and my speed. I think I can see myself fitting in just like Matheau did."
