Davis Hoping First Games Do the Trick

Will more offers come for Grand Blanc (Mich.) DE Daniel Davis?

Grand Blanc defensive end Daniel Davis is one of the top pass rushers in the state of Michigan, and was able to recently add to his offer total.

"I got new offers from Miami-Ohio and Old Dominion," he reported.

That brings the count to ten for the 6'2, 240-lb Davis. He will look to show schools what he can do this fall, in hopes of drawing new offers, before making a decision.

"I think I'm going to wait until the three game mark, send out film, and depending on the response from that, I will commit."

When the tape is ready to go, there are several interested parties.

"I'm going to Cincinnati on Friday for a camp, then Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, and Rutgers wants to see it too."

The Spartans, right now, are the only school Davis says he knows he will visit in the fall.

"I know I'll be at Boise State-Michigan State, but I haven't looked too much at anybody else's schedule."
