Coach speak: Demarcus Robinson

Peach County High School head coach Chad Campbell details what kind of a player Clemson will be getting in wide receiver Demarcus Robinson.

WR Demarcus Robinson Profile

Robinson, a four-star, is ranked as the No. 14 wide receiver in the class of 2013. He committed to the Tigers on Friday during his visit to Clemson for the inaugural All In Cookout.

CUTigers spoke with Campbell shortly after Robinson committed.

"He's probably one of the better players I've had in my 20 years. He's one of the better players that's come through. He's got a lot of talent, a lot of ability," Campbell said. "I think he's not really reached his potential in football. They're going to get a really good football player. The sky's the limit with him."

As a junior, Robinson did a little bit of everything for the Trojans. He played wide receiver, tailback, wildcat quarterback, safety. He also returned kicks punts and punted.

"We're going to do the same thing with him. We're going to move him around. He's going to be in the role this year that he was last year," Campbell said.

According to Campbell, Robinson's solid away from the field.

"He's kind of quiet. But once you get to know him, he'll open up to you. He's fun to be around. He's got a good personality. It's just getting to know him. Once he lets you in, he's as good as gold," Campbell said.

Robinson is on track to graduate early from Peach County.
