Kentucky's top 2014 prospect recently visited Tennessee and worked out for the staff. Scout.com has the latest on his workout.

Drew Barker is one of the mostly highly recruited prospects in the Midwest, holding offers from Louisville, Cincinnati, Illinois, Purdue, South Carolina and Western Kentucky. But now he feels like another offer may be close by.

"They may offer pretty soon," Barker said of the Volunteers. "We will see."

Barker felt like his outing at Tennessee went well.

"Yeah, I visited there. It went great. I got a chance to meet Coach (Derek) Dooley and the staff. I really enjoyed working with Coach (Jim) Chaney. He is a very energetic coach and really knows what he's talking about. I'd enjoy playing for him," Barker said.

Barker led Conner High (Ky.) to a 7-6 record last season with almost 1500 yards passing (seven touchdowns) and he rushed for more than 1500 yards (22 touchdowns) as well.
