Gardner's Been Busy

Lawrence Central (IN) offensive lineman Tim Gardner says that three schools are currently standing out to him. Get the latest on the rising senior's recruitment.

6-foot-5, 310 pound rising senior Tim Gardner has become one of the top players in the Midwest. The offensive lineman's offer list is impressive and continues to grow.

"I have offers from Purdue, Toledo, Wisconsin, Louisville and Indiana. I've also been hearing from Florida, Michigan and Ohio State lately."

The OL admits that three schools are currently standing out to him.

"Ohio State is my favorite. I love the tradition they have and their style of offense. I believe I fit in well there. I also like Louisville a lot. They have a great offensive line coach, Coach Borbely. I really like him. He's a great coach and leader. Indiana is also one of my favorites. I've been there six or seven times over the past four years."

The rising senior has spent most of the summer on the road attending camps, and isn't done yet.

"I've camped at Indiana, Wisconsin, Louisville, Cincinnati and Ohio State. I'm also going back to Ohio State for their Friday Night Lights."

While Gardner plans on making his commitment after the season, he knows what he's looking for in a school.

"I want to be an engineer, either mechanical or civil, so I want my school to have that program. I also want a winning program that is elite."
