Lane Talks Alabama Offer

2014 wide receiver Ermon Lane continues to attract attention from big-time programs. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound wideout's latest offer came from Alabama at camp last week. Get the latest on the Homestead High School (Homestead, FL) standout right here.

After an impressive camp performance, Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban extended Ermon Lane the offer.

"He just told me he would love to see me there, he was telling me about the program and everything," Lane said.

"He said I'm a special kid."

Lane was excited to have the offer and has been very impressed with the Alabama program.

"It's a great place," Lane said.

"It's good, they're number one, so I think it's a really good opportunity."

Lane also has offers from Florida State and Miami, and stopped by Tallahassee last week as well.

"(FSU) was great, I love the atmosphere, (Coach) Jimbo Fischer is a nice guy."

As a lifelong Miami fan, Lane previously said the Hurricanes were his number one, but he'd like to wait it out. Now he says he has "no favorites" and plans to keep things open moving forward.

He isn't expecting to see any other schools this summer, as it's almost time for two-a-days to get started.
