Bere Talks Bearcats FNL

One of the many players who attended Cincinnati's version of Friday Night Lights was Tinashe Bere of Sycamore. We caught up with Bere for his thoughts on the Bearcats.

Tinashe Bere already holds an early offer from Illinois. However, hometown team Cincinnati is another team he hopes to earn one from. Friday night, Bere looked to get the ball rolling at Friday Night Lights.

"It would be nice to have an offer from Cincinnati," said Bere. "They are close to home and a good program."

Knowing his camp performance would be key in gaining interest from the Bearcats, Bere left feeling he did a solid job.

"The camp went pretty good," said Bere. "I spoke with head coach (Butch) Jones and felt I had a pretty good camp.

"In fact, the coaches pulled me out of some drills to talk with Coach Jones. He said they want to keep this relationship going and that they are excited about me and they'll stay in contact. He also wants me to come down for some games this season."

Leading the way for the Bearcats is Coach Mark Elder.

Bere will be headed to Ohio State this Friday for their version of Friday Night Lights and then to West Virginia on Sunday for his final camp.
