Davis has a good trip to Florida

For Thomson (GA) tight end Jordan Davis, his trip to Florida this Thursday was very enlightening. Although Davis enjoyed the visit, the talented tight end has not finished enjoying the recruiting process. After visiting Florida, Davis proceeded to travel to the University of Georgia. In his mind, the consecutive trips will help him to narrow down his options.

"My day was great. Florida was great. I got to take a tour and talk to the coaches," Jordan Davis said.

"I got to talk to Coach Derek Lewis and Coach Will Muschamp," he added.

According to the 6-foot-4, 225-pound prospect, Florida's coaches made it clear to him that he is high on their list of priorities.

"They were just telling me how much they need me and they want me to go there," he said.

For Davis, the approval of some of the key people in his life was an added bonus.

"I went with my mom and one of my coaches. They enjoyed the trip. They were impressed," he said.

Up next for the talented tight end is a visit to Athens.

"I'm looking forward to going on another tour at Georgia and talking to the coaches and just seeing wherever I feel the most at home," he said.
