Reeves-Maybin set to commit

Jalen Reeves-Maybin has set his commitment date and he will be ready to announce his decision later this week.

"I am going to be committing Friday at my school at 1:30pm CT," Jalen Reeves-Maybin told Scout. "I am down to Georgia Tech, Louisville, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt. I am not cutting my list down anymore."

Reeves-Maybin told Scout Monday that he does not know which school he will choose yet, but that he will by Friday.

The 6-foot-1, 205 pound athlete out of Clarkville (Tn.) Northeast plays all over the field in high school and is being recruited to play quarterback, safety, and linebacker on the next level.

Scout currently ranks Reeves-Maybin as the no. 29 outside linebacker in the country and you can expect to see him had a fourth star once the rankings are updated again this summer.
