Johnson Decommits from Penn State

Belle Vernon (Pa.) Area High offensive lineman Dorian Johnson re-opened his recruitment after de-committing from Penn State on Tuesday night.

Belle Vernon (Pa.) Area High offensive lineman Dorian Johnson decommitted from Penn State tonight during a conversation with the coaching staff, according to a text received by FightOnState recruiting reporter Greg Pickel.

The four-star Johnson is focusing on Pittsburgh, Ohio State and Virginia Tech, his coach, Aaron Krepps, told Pickel.

Johnson's decomittment capped an active day with Penn State's 2013 class.

It began with Demascus (Md.) High linebacker Zach Bradshaw decommitting from Penn State and committing to Virginia.

Oakcrest High (Mays Landing, N.J.) middle linebacker Brandon Bell then capped an unofficial visit to campus by re-affirming his commitment to the Nittany Lions.
