Johnson Takes Midwest Visits

Two big Midwest visits are on tap for defensive back Jonathan Johnson of The Webb School in Belt Buckle, Tennessee. Check out where he will visit and more inside.

The end of the week for The Webb School 2013 defensive back Jonathan Johnson is a big one.

With a Thursday visit to Indiana and a Friday visit to Missouri -- he's got plenty to look forward too.

"I am looking to check out how things work," Johnson said. "What the players do, how the coaches are around the players."

He continued, "I am definitely looking to see if the places have a family feel."

The first visit will be to Indiana, and there are several things that Johnson is looking forward to about it.

"Indiana is really trying to change the program around and get things going there," Johnson said. "Coach Hagen is telling recruits they can come in and make an impact and I like that."

Next up, is Missouri, who Johnson has felt strongly about since the beginning of his recruitment.

"Missouri is still my number one school," Johnson said. "They are really serious about their program, the coaches believe in their players, and they have been interested in me since freshman year."

He added, "I love those things about him, plus I like that they play in the SEC now."

Although Johnson is still looking for his first offer, both schools he is visiting this weekend are getting pretty close.

"Every school is waiting on film from me to offer," Johnson said.
