West: Preseason Top Ten Quarterbacks
Location: Sammamish, Wash.

Recruiting: Committed to USC
The Skinny: The nation's top quarterback was the MVP of the Oakland Elite 11 Regional, was selected to the Elite 11 after a great showing at the Finals and helped lead his team to the championship game at The Opening.  On top of that, he's set to lead the Spartans to defend their state title and potentially win their fifth in sixth years, en route to shattering several state passing records.  The top offensive prospect in the West, he committed to USC in the spring.

Recruiting: Committed to Alabama
The Skinny: Bateman kept himself busy this spring and it paid off in being selected to the Elite 11 Finals, a couple weeks after helping his team win the Nike 7ON at The Opening.  The Alabama verbal will get to face Browne in September in a heavily anticipated matchup.

Recruiting: Committed to Washington
The Skinny: Williams is the top quarterback in the Golden State, and while he was great this spring and summer, earning an invitation to the Elite 11 Finals, its on the field on Friday nights that Williams really makes a name for himself, and he's set to lead the Gauchos this fall in their efforts for a second straight City Section title.  The Washington verbal is the reigning City Section Player of the Year.

High School: Marin Catholic

Recruiting: Committed to California
The Skinny: The top quarterback prospect in Northern California, Goff was the QB MVP at the Oakland NFTC and was selected to the Elite 11 after a good performance at the finals in Southern California.  The Cal commit has been playing a big role in recruiting for the Golden Bears and is the third straight quarterback from the Bay Area the Bears have gotten.

Size: 6-3.5/205
Recruiting: Committed to LSU
The Skinny: After missing nearly all of his junior year with a knee injury, Rettig has come back with a vengeance this spring, and showing no signs of being slowed by the knee injury, looking great at a number of 7on7 tournaments this offseason. The owner of one of the strongest arms in the West, Rettig committed to LSU in the spring.
