Linebacker Isaac Tanner (Tampa, Fla./Freedom) recently made his decision as he committed to Western Kentucky late last week.

"I committed to Western Kentucky last Thursday," Tanner said. "It's just the atmosphere there. I loved it. I loved the way they recruited me. I went up there and loved the facilities. It was all very nice and it felt like the perfect fit for me. Plus I can get some early playing time and I want to play."

Tanner, 6-foot-0 and 220-pounds, plays on the inside for Freedom High School but he believes he will be on the outside at Western Kentucky.

"Honestly, I can play any of the positions," Tanner said. "But I think I will play on the outside there. They like that I bring an intelligence to the position. I can make the calls and plays. I am a speed and power guy. I am a team guy. They also want me to be a leader and impact player. Those coaches and players are already taking me under their wings."
