Todd Macon (St. Petersburg, Fla./Admiral Farragut) is a powerful running back prospect at 5-foot-10 and 200-pounds. This is a kid that excels between the tackles. Macon really runs behind his pads well and once his shoulders are square and he's running downhill, Macon is a handful to bring down. By no means is he shy of contact.
At the other end of the spectrum, Macon is deceptive nimble in the open field when he wants to be. He can be elusive and tough to handle in the open field because he can run around a defender or over them. In the passing game he's very good out of the backfield as a receiver.
The one thing Macon lacks is homerun speed but he's certainly fast enough to play this position at the next level.
Macon, a two-star prospect, has an offer from Liberty and certainly looks like he has the talent to play Division 1 ball. This is certainly a running back recruit flying under the radar in the Sunshine State.
