Morris sets official visit

Memphis (Tenn.) East offensive lineman Christian Morris committed to UCLA in July and set up his official visit to see the Bruins take on their cross town rivals in November.

Christian Morris is one of the key commitments for UCLA this year and fills a big area of need. It's no secret the Bruins need a lot of help on the offensive line and Morris is one of the nation's top tackle prospects.

He shined at The Opening in Oregon last July and his stock has risen after a strong overall performance all summer.

"I'm solid to UCLA and excited to be a Bruin," Morris said. "I set up my official visit for (Nov. 16) when they play USC. That's going to be a huge game and I'm looking forward to it. I plan to take a few more visits too but the UCLA one will likely be the only one I take during the season.

"I still want to see Nebraska and Ole Miss too but I don't have any dates yet. I think I'll take four total and I'm not sure who will get that last one. Michigan State is starting to show interest and could offer soon so we'll what happens there."

Morris committed to the Bruins over Nebraska but said at the time he planned to visit the Huskers before Signing Day.
