Catching Up with Lamar Robbins

Miami (FL) Miami Southridge 2013 standout athlete talks football and a little recruiting. The 6'3 190-pound cornerback/wide receiver is often times overlooked in the Sunshine state for most recruiting fans but college coaches are paying attention.

Lamar Robbins checks in at 6'3 and 190-pounds and spoke with Scout.com about his Miami Southridge team and recruiting.

"Practice is going wonderful. My team is looking strong this season. We have studs at every position like on defense with Jamal Carter, Terrence Brown, Harry Davis, James Darby, James Atkins and me. The list goes on even the backup players are super studs. I feel like I need to perfect my technique, as of now it's great but can always get better."

Numerous teams are showing Robbins interest at this time.

"West Virginia, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, UCLA and Arkansas are starting to spread along with Louisville."

Robbins will more than likely make official trips to Oklahoma and West Virginia but keep an eye on Louisville.

This past weekend Robbins had eight solo tackles.
