Sunshine State QB

Marshall University currently has three quarterbacks on scholarship. This is a problem which was discussed in this very spot a few weeks ago when the Herd garnered an early commit from Sunshine State quarterback, Kevin Anderson. A quick update today on the most recent quarterback commit to the Herd, Kevin Anderson. Anderson and company got off to a slow start by losing their opener. Anderson said it was a tough game and no one really executed like they needed. In fact he said, "we had a lot of mental errors and the score really doesnt tell the true story of the game. all of our starters including me got benched with ten minutes left in the 3rd being down 28"

Anderson bounced back this week with a 28 to 10 win this past weekend. Anderson threw for 109 yards, and rushed for 35 additional yards. He threw a 32 yard touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter to finish the game off.

The good news for the Herd is that Anderson should be set to enroll, not in May after graduation, but this January. This would allow Anderson to participate in spring camp.
