Here is a look at this week's action on FOX Sports West's Prepzone.

CIF-SS Top 20

Venice (1-1) @ No. 5 Oaks Christian (2-0)
9/7 7PM PST

Oaks Christian has been impressive in its two opening wins, while Venice was beaten handily by Chaminade before rebounding against Sylmar. From a college prospect standpoint, this one is a blowout in favor of Oaks Christian. The Lions senior class features linebacker Cameron Judge (6'2/215, UCLA) and receiver Francis Owusu (6'3/195, Stanford).

The junior class may be even more talent laden with quarterback Brandon Dawkins (6'4/215) and athlete Chris Davis (5'9/170) leading the way. Dawkins already has offers from the likes of Notre Dame and Utah among others.

Prediction: Oaks Christian records its third straight blowout victory.

Crenshaw (2-0) @ No. 11 Westlake (2-0)
9/7 7PM PST

Crenshaw has gotten off to a good start with a core of seniors that includes Mossi Johnson (6'1/185), Earl Glinton (6'1/185) and Dominic Hatfield (5'11/165), all defensive backs who are receiving college looks.

Westlake would have been one of the favorites in the Pac-5 before it lost starting quarterback Justin Moore. The Warriors have struggled to find an identity on offense, but the defense held Del Oro and Granite Bay to a combined 19 points. Dashon Hunt (5'9/175) is a do-it-all dynamo for Westlake who was committed to UCLA at one time. He plays defensive back and running back for the Warriors and is considering Nebraska and Arizona among others.

Prediction: Westlake wins another hard fought, closer than expected game against the City-Section power.

Bonita (0-2) @ La Serna (2-0)
9/7 7PM PST

Junior Tanner Diebold hopes to lead his Bonita team to its first victory of the season. He had a good opening week game against San Dimas with 173 yards and three touchdowns, but threw two interceptions in a week two loss to South Hills.

La Serna is coming off of a good win over Downey. Senior Nick McCarty is the go-to player for the Lancers, having already run for three touchdowns on the season.

Prediction: La Serna builds off of its win against Downey and Bonita slides to 0-3

Francis Parker (1-0) @ Rio Hondo Prep (1-1)
9/7 7PM PST

Parker is a tough small school program in the San Diego section but is coming off back to back sub-par years after having won 23 games the prior two seasons. Parker blew out Coronado in its first game behind four touchdown passes by senior Gabe Harrington (6'4/210).

Rio Hondo Prep is coming off of a 13-1 season, but the Kares got waxed by Mission Prep last week.

Prediction: Mission Prep quarterback Tyler Baty had a big game against Rio Hondo, Harrington looks to have similar success as Francis Parker goes home with the win.
