Video: Jamarco Jones vs Mt. Carmel

In a losing effort, Chicago De La Salle's Jamarco Jones showed why he is one of the Windy City's top young football players, as the offensive tackle put on an impressive performance.

Jamarco Jones profile

Jones has offers from several BCS schools, mostly from the Big Ten, as Ohio State, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, Purdue, and Nebraska have offered along with Notre Dame and Vanderbilt. Jones, at 6'5, 290-lbs, is a good sized kid with long arms. He's a good athlete who gets out of his stance quickly, is able to pull and get into the second level when needed, and showed that he'll finish his blocks too. He just needs to continue his technical development, as the physical tools are there. He was also going against a BCS prospect in #56 Enoch Smith.
