Waubonsie Valley (Ill.) High tight end Troy Fumagalli decided to end his recruitment Wednesday.
"I verbally committed to Wisconsin today," Fumagalli said.
But what made the 6-foot-6, 230 pound tight end pull the trigger?
"I decided to commit because Wisconsin is a great place with a winning tradition," Fumagalli said. "It's a place that I can see myself succeed at."
Fumagalli has known he wanted to be a Badger for several days, but announced his decision Wednesday.
"After my visit I knew that Wisconsin was the best fit for me," Fumagalli said. "And my family actually felt the same way about it."
Now that Fumagalli has made his decision, he cant hide his excitement.
"I am most excited about joining the Badger family because of getting to work," Fumagalli said. "And learning from the great coaching staff there."
And the big tight end target, knows that he can bring some positives to the Badger offense.
"I think I'll bring a passing threat to Wisconsin," Fumagalli said.
Fumagalli was offered by the Badgers as a tight end, even though he is playing defensive end for Waubonsie Valley High as well.
"I am playing both ways, so I am starting to get used to that."
